Before hiring a Castle Rock marketing agency, ask what they will do in the first 30 days, how they report results, who owns your website and accounts, how they earn links, whether they guarantee rankings, what contract they require, who does the work, and to see real past work. Good agencies answer each plainly.

The eight questions

- Do you guarantee rankings? The right answer is no. Google says nobody can guarantee a number one ranking.
- What contract do you require? Short or month-to-month is a good sign.
- Who does the work? Named people you can talk to.
- Can I see real work? Live sites, not just logos.
Local knowledge matters, but so does honesty
